Transcript of an interview conducted by Margaret Cawood at McAllen, Texas on 21 February 1989. Longino talks about his training as a pilot in the United States Air Corps, his assignments in the South Pacific Theater, his experiences flying F4F Wildcats and the F6F Hellcat, his shooting down four Japanese planes, and his being shot down and picked up by a US submarine. He tells of battle fatigue and that he made the 8,000th landing on the "Bunker Hill."
